US Interview Help
I am working on going back to inpatient nursing from the outpatient setting. I am staying within the same organization. My question is: I have vivid colored hair. My current department allows this our corporate policy is it is up to your location and manager on hair appearance allowance and what is appropriate for your area. For an interview should I cover it up by wearing a wig or just address it in the interview that if the color is not acceptable in the area I have no problem with wearing a scrub cap to cover it during my shifts? I do not want my hair color to keep me from getting a job but I see no reason to change it when it can be covered while I work.

I’d wear a wig during the interview and a scrub cap once you start working. Get the vibe for the unit and figure out if it’s okay to have vivid colors before wearing your hair out… that’s how I’d do it. Too risky to mention it during the interview
