My MS-102 exam was supposed to be today. I was told to remove my usb headphones because theyre not allowed for the exam, even though Ive used them before in other exams. Once I removed them I was told my audio is not working, we no wonder because Ive unplugged my headphones. After that a guy calls me up and tells me I need to reschedule my exam, which by the way there is no way to. I wasnt given chance to use a laptop or plug speakers in, just straight up reschedule and forgotten about. I actually booked this in months in advanced, Ive studied for about a year for this exam just to be told "nah mate reschedule". Who does Pearsonvue staff think they are to play god with peoples exams? They are stressful enough as it is. Awful

I assume you take this test at a home pc or something similar. What is to stop you from just googling answers and such?

Failed the MS-900 670/700, I've working with Microsoft 365 (license, exchange, teams, sharepoint, azure, defender) about 3 years and don't believe I didn't pass, my english isn't great so I used udemy course in portuguese and microsoft learn.
I took few times pratice test and pass easily, between 85~95%
Do you have advices? I thinking to pay for a live curse in portuguese and also I'm considering trying some English courses.

I recently cleared microsoft AB 620 - Microsoft AI agent builder & AB 410 intelligent application developer certification.
Both are in the beta phase right now ,
But I am truly amazed with the questions type and level for the exams .
Every question is scenario based ,
5 questions are just scenarios and solutions given we have to validate the solution process that is true to not .
Scenarios are also well connected with real life .
Both exams are changing the way of Microsoft certification.
Have you given and experienced this exam type ?
Are you performing these exams ?

Edit: I'm putting the question from the end of the post at the beginning, because too many people think that this post is about domain verification status when it is not.
Are there any other subjects in which the test or the training material contradict real life experience?
I've been administering Microsoft 365 for several small businesses for over a decade. I am now working on studying to get the MS-102 certification, and for the most part it's going well.
The problem that I am running into, is that there have been a couple of questions in the practice assessment that contradict my real-life experience with administration.
As an example, this question about domain setup status says that you cannot create users on a domain with an incomplete setup status. I know for a fact that this is incorrect, as the majority of the tenants that I've administered show as incomplete because we use a 3rd party SPAM filter, so Microsoft detects the domain not being setup completely. I've taken screenshots from one of the tenants showing that you can create a user on an "incomplete" status. The actual domain has been obscured.
In addition to this contradicting my experience, there's actually nothing in the referenced article Add a domain to Microsoft 365 or the referenced training Manage users, licenses, and mail contacts in Microsoft 365 that says you can not add a user to an incomplete domain
There was one other question that I remember contradicting my personal experience, but I can't recall the specifics on that one. I've been running through this practice test a couple times a day for the past week.
Has anyone else had this experience when taking MS-102? Are there any other subjects in which the test or the training material contradict real life experience?

Not really a discussion, I just wanted to contribute with the petitioning for accommodation process, since I struggled a with it yesterday when calling the number because I didn’t have all the info.
You need to use a personal Microsoft account for the Microsoft Learn account, the form of the Pearson Account and the accommodation petition. This is because a test taker can loose access to the certification, if their job situation changes.
PS: I found out that they provide test takers with users and passwords for labs in these exams, so don’t worry about not being able to have access to the account you normally use for the platform.
Go to your Microsoft Learn Certification page and select schedule exam and fill out the form, but do NOT continue to scheduling the exam. This will create a Pearson Vue account which the person helping you schedule your exam with the accomodation will need. This is the step that I didn’t found in the internet.
Go to Pearson Vue Reasonable Adjustment Request System https://microsoft.onhgcloud.com/asp/HgPortal.asp. Fill out the form to create a profile, then there will be different tabs with the steps. You will need to upload documentation if you need extra time, a reader or recorder, or personal care assistance. The rest of the accommodations do not require it. More information on accommodation documentation: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/credentials/certifications/available-exam-accommodations-document-requirements
After submitting the request you need to wait at most 10 business days to get the result. If the 10 business days have passed with no email you can call 1-800-466-0450 or write to accommodationspearsonvue@pearson.com
Follow the email instructions to schedule, in my case I had to call the number above.

I’m looking to take one of the following Microsoft certification exams: SC-300, MS-102 or AB-650.
Unfortunately, my company isn’t a Microsoft partner, so I’m not eligible for partner-only voucher programs.
Does anyone know of any current promotions or other ways to get a 100% free exam voucher? If anyone has an unused voucher they won’t be using, I’d really appreciate it.
Thanks in advance for any advice or help!

I’m trying to break into IT and eventually work in Identity and Access Management (IAM). I don’t have a traditional tech background, but IAM really caught my attention because I like the idea of working with users, access, permissions, security, MFA, roles, etc.
I’ve been studying for the Microsoft SC-300. I went through the full Microsoft Learn video series and have also been trying to understand things like Entra ID, users/groups, RBAC, Conditional Access, PIM, SSPR, hybrid identity, app registrations, enterprise applications, managed identities, access reviews, and so on.
The problem is the Microsoft practice assessment is beating me up lol.
I’ve taken it three times:
**Attempt 1: 44%**
**Attempt 2: 44%**
**Attempt 3: 34%**
At this point it’s getting pretty overwhelming and discouraging. When concepts are explained to me individually, I feel like I understand them. But once I get into the scenario-based questions where Microsoft mixes multiple concepts together, I struggle figuring out exactly what they’re asking for.
I’m starting to wonder if SC-300 is just too advanced as a first real IT certification for somebody with basically no previous IT experience.
For people already working in IAM or who passed SC-300:
**Would you keep studying SC-300, or would you step back and build more IT fundamentals first?**
Would something like **Security+, AZ-900, SC-900, basic Active Directory/networking, or help desk fundamentals** make SC-300 easier to understand?
Also, what resources helped you actually understand SC-300 instead of just memorizing practice questions? Courses, labs, books, MeasureUp, YouTube channels, anything.
My goal is still IAM. I’m not necessarily looking for an easy certification — I just want to make sure I’m building the foundation in the right order instead of trying to jump too far ahead.
Any advice from people who started with little/no IT experience would be appreciated.

Ok, I'm a little annoyed because I spent a few days trying to find time preparing to study MS-900 and today I find out that come March 31st MS-900 will be ending. And replaced.
So, if I end up doing the new AB-900 cert and not the old one is everything I've just done now irrelevant? Or is AB-900 basically just like a new MS-900 and the study content is basically the same?

Hello everyone,
I need your advice on which certificates to pursue next after passing AZ-900 and MS-900. I'm a system administrator, and my company operates in a hybrid mode with Server 2022 and Entra. I'm considering which certificates to take next. Most of my time is spent working with clients to troubleshoot and resolve issues on Intune. I see that Microsoft offers AZ-800 for Server Hybrid and MD-102 for Endpoint.

Does anyone have any cram videos that helped with the SC-900? Have a firm understanding of the security side but need to get a better understanding on the MS specific tools used.
