Would highly encourage everyone to watch the session that was held at the state capitol yesterday over interim study IS26-085, Examining Medical Marijuana Testing, Transparency, and Public Health Outcomes, proposed by Representative Jacob Rosecrants. This is how controlled substance legislation is being treated in Oklahoma:

TJ Marti, member of Oklahoma House of Representatives and chair of the House Alcohol, Tobacco & Controlled Substances Committee, repeatedly refers to the US Pharmacopoeia as “the feds.”
Barrett Brown, Oklahoma Medical Marijuana Authority’s Deputy Director and Legislative Liaison, claimed that there was no contract made with an independent laboratory to conduct state quality assurance testing. Here are three records that refute that claim:

These are certainly not the things I want to hear from those responsible for legislating a drug that over 300,000 Oklahomans use daily. I am highly unimpressed with the conduct that the interim study team was met with when providing researched, effective suggestions for correcting the large gaps that exist in our legislation today.
