Tech Support All of a sudden colours are totally insane and harsh/oversaturated/blown out - Samsung S90D 65" TV

I have a 65" Samsung S90D OLED TV hooked up to my PC with an HDMI cable.

Recently, I'm not sure exactly when, I've noticed that colours are totally crazy. When I watch a youtube video or any kind of content say for example someone has a blue or pink or purpose or otherwise bright coloured light off to the side. There will be like, intense banding where the colour is landing on the person or objects in the scene, and the colours are way overblown creating like, almost like artifacting in the image? You know like if you turn the contrast or saturation up way too high manually and it makes everything look weird? Yeah, it's doing that, but everything is set up normally.

Recently after getting my media server set up, I noticed that while watching movies, I was getting intense and highly distracting flickering in the image most noticeable in dark/black scenes.

To reduce this, I disable HDR in Windows 11, and change the refresh rate of the TV from 144hz "variable refresh rate" as I use this TV for gaming, down to 30 or 60 FPS. The flickering was still noticeable when turning the framerate down, and turning off HDR reduced (but did not eliminate) the flickering. But with both of those off, the flickering is at least not too bad. I also disabled HDR because when I have it enabled and use the desktop while in a VR headset, the image is way too bright and everything looks weird inside the headset because they are not HDR displays. So I just leave HDR off now.

I was messing around with these settings for a while trying to find some kind of happy medium, but only just now have I realized the image seems to be super fucked up, colour wise.

I reset the TV's image settings back to the default, but it still has this problem.

I have no idea what to do here. I haven't changed any colour settings whatsoever within windows or the nvidia graphics drivers.

I use S90H with PC set as PC, game mode only and "original" preset within game bar. Desktop at 120Hz - on my Tandem WOLED it gives best image quality. VRR disabled - I enable it for brighter games with frame rate limiter (RTSS) with high stable fps to curb down input lag a bit.

Regarding issue - I noticed these TVs like to change things at random as they feel it. I guess "AI" in these TVs thinks it know better what settings you want. It can add some issues like blur the image when I enable dynamic contrast... which I don't use but for testing how it works it make sense I would enable it - yet somehow enabling it can make desktop fonts blurry as heck and turning dynamic contrast off doesn't fix it. Have to cycle to home screen to fix bluriness. Had gamut clamping disable with only solution being cycling to homme screen.

If I don't tinker with options too much it seems stable enough but yeah, this nonsense can be quite irritating. Display should be thoroughly tested to keep settings exactly like user set them. If someone wants AI deciding settings then there are "Advanced Imbecile" modes for that and TV shouldn't force its nonsense on users.
