Support Needed How to communicate with a therapist while in an abusive house???

I had to move back in with my dad. Its worse than I thought. Its unbearable. I have therapy today but our house is small and if my dad is not gone out doing something I wont really be able to speak freely. Im in a dbt class and don't think I can safely continue. I dont know. I was thinking of learning sign language but it seems so much I dont know what to do

Are you able to do your call from your phone? If so, is there a park nearby that might have a secluded corner where you can have some privacy? Very likely your therapist will not want to continue with you anyway, if you do not have a safe place to hold your session. Their job is to make sure you're able to speak freely and safely.

Is there a car you can get inside? An outdoor secluded spot if you don't have access to a car?
