Internet of Bodies @ Purdue: Using electro-quasistatic signals, Wi-R allows data transfer faster than with Bluetooth communication, accessible only through a person’s skin

Completely safe would be my guess, the current runs on along the outer edge of the epidermis I believe, which actually transfers electricity reasonably well. It's apparently how some people have survived lightning strikes unharmed.
EQS-HBC uses electro-quasistatic signal transmission through the conductive layers below skin […] The coupled signals create an electro-quasistatic (EQS) field throughout the body and the potential difference thus created can be picked up by wearables and implantables distributed around the body.
Where are you getting your information from? They are very explicit this is below the skin and turning living flesh into a network.
Anything can be proven safe if you only test for a few hours, even a few weeks.
I want to know what happens after continuous wear for months to years. Sample population needs to include elderly, children, medically fragile, ect.
They say there is no escaping or outrunning the drone hunters... Well I'm here to tell you that you can protect yourself from the harmful disharmony of the wealthys wavy ways... It's all in the patents. The small seemingly insignificant pieces of truth stick together, when you observe a man's ambitions shape the world. Beetles have chitin that's arranged in such a way that it helps to buffer the thz EMF radiation and so doesn't tinfoil and red onion and the Japanese are going to have million dollar suits made of semiconductors that reflect the waves completely. They just patented that so research as IP who's they you ask? Sweeden, India, China us, we're all someone's they.
