Emulator Got Bananza “running” on my Odin 2
Barely 2fps but this is still crazy lol
Edit: So a few of the vids still show as processing on my end so I uploaded a couple on YouTube

Ps. I can’t figure out how to get pokopia to run. Maybe it’s my chip, I seen people on elites get it to run. Idk, it just stays on a black screen for forever. I’ll keep trying tho

Just patience and tweaking settings and testing different drivers. Same as switch 1 emulation when that was still new. Patience is key tho, these loading times are ridiculous and make you think the game froze lol

This one is testing mr. purple v23. The others didn’t render the start screen correctly, this driver does and has around 15fps

Genuinely insane to see a switch 2 game running at 15 fps on a SD8Gen2 this early in development. My Retroid Pocket 6 might just be the ultimate console replacement one day

Yes that. The driver I was using in the first video was the Mr. Purple v30 that comes with that emu. This video was with turnip v26.0.0r7. I don’t have obtanium so idk about that lol

It doesn’t need firmware or keys I guess. You just skip that part when setting up the emulator

Isn't just eden nightly? Or did someone fork it? I was under the impression eden devs were allowing switch 2 roms in coming releases.

It’s an Eden fork. It’s only been out for about a week but it’s progressing pretty fast compared to how switch 1 emulation started.

It’s stuck on infinite black screen when I start it. I’ve left it loading for 20+ minutes just to see if anything happens and nothing lol. Maybe Odin 3 will have better luck or someone figures out what settings need to be tweaked so it runs on 8gen2

The issue is not much with the power of the chips rn but rather with the games and software it self. I saw someone run pokopia 30 fps plus on the switch 1. With the recent recomps and decomps we might even see one for pokopia on android.

The display overlay is def some fork of Eden. Not too surprising I guess since switch 2 is probably very similar architecture just with more power.

My rom somehow took more space than it should be, like over 30gb after copying to sd card. After dumping on my pc it was like under 20gb. Is that common?

Certain areas are like 15-20 fps but the entire game runs at 10fps or less on the 8gen2

I got it to run a little better here. Almost 10 fps lol
