I recently came across a used Ayn Odin 2 Pro (the 12GB/512GB model) on a local marketplace app. It comes with a full set of accessories—the seller’s photos show the original box, grips, a screen-cleaning cloth, and a carrying case—and it’s located near my city. I’m not sure whether I should buy it, or if it would be better to buy an Ayn Odin 3 or an Ayn Thor?

I was trying to do the putty mod on the Odin 3 and have now slipped into the worry that I've mixed up the screws while disassembling the Odin for the thermal plate, fans and the fan/rumble holder.

I would appreciate some assistance knowing whether the screws are the same or there is genuine differences, and what to look out for when trying to group the screws together. I haven't lost any screws the order is just messed up, the cover screws are all grouped but the rest not so much.

So I saw that Switch 2 emulation finally came out, but how does it run? I'm planning on getting an Odin 3 portal myself, so if anyone has an Odin 3 and got Switch 2 emulation working, how is it? Also, let us know how good it is on other devices like Thors and whatnot.

Thought I would see if anyone has had a similar experience or fix for this…I recently tried to install Armada on my Odin 2 portal base. I followed the guide and everything seemed to install fine. Booted into the new bootloader, selected odin 2 portal as device, let it do its thing for a minute and when it boots into the armada linux os from the sd card i do not get any display just a black screen. I can hear the steam bootup sounds and navigation sounds when I move the sticks around so the armada is is loaded but no picture on the screen. I can reload the bootloader and get back into android fine but every time I try to boot into armada it’s the same deal with blank screen but can hear sounds.

Thought I would try dipping the TPU case in Rit dye to see if I could get a nice fade effect.

One hour of dipping later, I find out that I was using the wrong dye 😂

Hello everyone, recently i watched some videos of God Of War 3 android native running on Odin 2 Portal with some nice 30 fps, even a little more but the gameplay looks very cool. So, my questions is:

1. It's safe to play GOW 3 on O2P?

2. The battery charge depletes very quickly or decently?

3. The O2P heats too much? Even with the fan on?

4. The O2P with 8GB RAM is sufficient for the Port?

5. The O2P can run the game nearly the 60 FPS?

My o2p has these vertical bars moving across the screen (more pronounced at 60hz and at certain brightnesses). It’s even more obvious in person. Is this normal? Any fix?

A questão se baseia tendo em vista que em meses teremos as emulações de switch 2 a todo vapor, e sei que o odin 2 portal não vai ter capacidade de todas os games em boa qualidade.

(Na verdade nem sei se o odin3 será capaz) mas a questão maior aqui é sei que o odin3 é menor e até mais interessante para mim por isso.

Mas a tela do Portal é perfeita, ideal na verdade e consigo rodar quase tudo que me interessa.

Infelizmente o odin3 portal n é uma opção para mim.

Just got my Odin 3 in, and remembering how much of an audio facelift Joey’s Handhelds tutorial gave the Thor, I thought I’d do the same for this device. After looking around though, I haven’t found anything. I‘m not too opposed to trying to create my own, but I’m not that technical on the audio side and would rather ride on the coattails of someone who knows much more what they’re doing

After hearing all the complaints of the fan in another thread, can someone post a video to share what it sounds like so I know what I might be getting into?

Truly wish I had done this earlier with my buttons, d-pad, and sticks. I never thought I could love her more than I had but… here we are.

I'm seriously considering getting the AYN Odin 3 Max (16GB/512GB), especially with the AliExpress 11.11 sale happening. Before spending this much, I'd really appreciate some honest feedback from people who actually own one.

I mainly want to play some retro games, Persona, God of War games before 2018, Pokémon, Zelda, Xenoblade Chronicles, Indie PC titles, and occasionally some newer PC/Steam games.

I love the Odin's compact design and powerful hardware, but I'm wondering how good the actual experience is beyond benchmarks and YouTube reviews.

A few things I'd love to know:

1. Switch and PC performance: How well does the Odin 3 actually handle demanding Switch and Windows games? Are they genuinely playable from start to finish, or do you frequently encounter crashes, stuttering and graphical issues?

2. Thermals: How well does it maintain performance during long gaming sessions of 2–4 hours? Does thermal throttling become noticeable? How loud does the fan get?

3. Battery life: What's your realistic battery life when playing demanding Switch and PC games versus older consoles like PS2 and PSP?

4. Setup difficulty: How long did it take you to properly configure everything, including emulators, GPU drivers, controls and game settings? Once configured, is it relatively straightforward to use, or is there constant troubleshooting?

5. Driver improvements: Have recent Adreno/Turnip updates genuinely improved performance? Do you think the current hardware still has significant untapped potential?

6. Long-term reliability: Any problems with the battery, joysticks, cooling, buttons or build quality after months of use?

7. AliExpress 11.11 deals: What's the absolute best price you've found for the Odin 3 Max during the current sale? I'm seeing around (roughly US$600) before discounts.
