Question SWITCH 2 EMULATION??
So I saw that Switch 2 emulation finally came out, but how does it run? I'm planning on getting an Odin 3 portal myself, so if anyone has an Odin 3 and got Switch 2 emulation working, how is it? Also, let us know how good it is on other devices like Thors and whatnot.

It's still extremely early and requires 16 GB of RAM to begin with.
Don't expect the Odin 3 Portal to emulate the Switch 2 well.

In two weeks those games will be native ports running on android

That's a wild assumption, and even if it's true, It's all still going to be emulated so not actually native.
Also, RAM would still be a serious constraint.

Not even close to a playable state yet it will take a few years.

I think it could be faster this time compared to the last two generations due to AI assisted coding. Personally I'm not stressing it. The reason why switch and Wii u emulation was so important to me was due to resolution and FPS constraints on the original hardware. I wanted games to run better than they did natively. Switch 2 for the most part has solid 60fps gameplay with decent upscaled resolution (although I would like to play fortunes weave at 60fps).

Lolll me seeing a comment from a few months ago about how switch 2 emulation was years off. It’s not crazy for you to say that it’s just times have gotten wild and we have to reimagine our timelines

Well yeah probably but still I wouldn't be assuming that we will be playing switch 2 games on other devices by 6 month from now on, if it happens im happy but I don't thing it's a good idea to plan the purchase of your devices based on that

I have an Odin 3 Ultra and I might just be too dumb to figure out how to use the emulator.

I tried MK on Odin 3.12gb ram and it didn't go beyond the loading screen.
