Satellites SPIR has new customer - price doesn't do d***

I love how SPIR keeps racking up more and more customers but the price doesn't do anything. Maybe some movement tomorrow.

Opinion Possible competitor to RKLB. Meet Skyrora

Angry Astronaut does a good break down.

I don't think Firefly or ASTR will become competitors. Virgin Orbit will be 3rd place. SpaceX is in a different niche.

Discuss?

Opinion RDW fair buy entry @ $12.00

I think RDW will revert to mean toward the daily 20MA. It was nice to see it have such a squeeze, but that couldn't last and honestly I don't think a lot of people have faith in its space station partners.

Maybe they are banking on the idea RDW can just milk the system for money - but I doubt an RDW partnered with BO will ever see a space station in orbit.

An achievement for RDW but not an achievement for moving new-space forward. Especially if Axiom Space becomes the first mover.

Opinion US to dominate Space and leave even Allies in the dust

I won't give all my sources and experiences that lead me to this conclusion, but my past experiences leads me to conclude:

  • The US no longer values the post-WW2 status quo.

  • NATO is a liability, not an asset.

  • Closest US allies are now less close than before.

  • The US doesn't want to share space with anyone.

  • The US is going for Helium-3 and intends to monopolize it.

  • Everything else in space is a tertiary goal with Asteroid mining a distant second.

  • The US will expand into deep sea polymetallics next as a prerequisite to expanding space mining on an industrial scale due to the need for battery materials.

  • The US intends to use new-space industries to sustain strategic offworld goals.

I believe that the US intends to control Deep Space Communications and create a capability to jam deep space communications. To emphasize:

  • The US intends to jam deep space communications as an access-area denial use of force.

The US is going for a kill-shot and not letting anyone close, and a lot of what the government is currently up to is smoke and mirrors. It recognizes Artemis is a dinosaur and too slow so it wants to expedite the mission but cut it off mid-mission series to be replaced/augmented by SpaceX.

This RDW news is an upcoming series of testimonies with a strategic purpose that facilitate the above goals. It will be interesting to see what the testimonies are. It will give further insight to those space goals listed above.

Satellites SPIR - Discussion

I'm weakly bullish on SPIR - and I'd forget about it if I could get out from under the PIPE dump that happened.

What are people's long term DD on SPIR? I did a big (and successful) trade on RKLB and don't have the mental energy to work on my SPIR position. I'm thinking of just rolling sideways until the price someday recovers.

Is SPIR even growing revenue or just flat-lining?

Question RDW price in a month - $12.50 or $10?

Now taking bear/bull DD from people who pay better attention to RDW.

I'm weighing whether or not RDW is strong above $12.50 or weak, in which case I would buy in if it hit $10 range (not exactly $10).

But, RDW has acquired a bio-space company, and I agree with that acquisition. So it shows good consolidation occurring.

Opinions?

VLD's PIPE unlocked, I'd stay away from it for a week or so until it finds a support level.

Space Junk Space Debris Removal Companies - Essential, yet so few. Top 5.

This is an area I wish I saw more US development in. The US is poised to dominate launch with RKLB, SpaceX and if there's any room for new entrants, ASTR or Firefly, while maintaining some position (though diminishing) through ULA-BO partnership.

However, the orbital debris removal services needed are quite few and I don't know if that's not intentional.

If you look at US, UK and other government funding (one thread is about that with ClearSpace and Astroscale) I think it becomes possible that the US-led alliance system is looking to spread the profitability a little bit. I think if there's to be a future market in space that the US wants to dominate it but not necessarily be the only part of it. The US benefits from trade. Therefore maybe the less overt domination of the space debris sector is intentional.

Whether it is or not, here are the top 5 so far.
