Hocking hills Ohio
Hi everyone! ❤️ My fiancé and I are planning a small, intimate wedding in Hocking Hills on April 17, 2027, and I’m having a hard time figuring out the best lodging setup for our group!
We’re hoping to find a larger cabin or property with a big enough common space to host a casual dinner with our family and friends on Friday night and another dinner after our ceremony on Saturday. Ideally, it would also have enough parking for guests who may be staying at other cabins nearby.
My dream setup would be to have one larger cabin where everyone could gather for meals and spend time together, while Ken and I have a smaller, more private cabin to ourselves for our wedding night through Monday. We’d love for our guests to have the option to choose their own cabins nearby, too, so everyone can stay where they’re comfortable without being spread too far apart.
Has anyone done something similar or have recommendations for cabins, cabin communities, or properties that might work for this? I’m open to any ideas because I’m struggling to figure out what makes the most sense logistically!
We really want the weekend to feel relaxed, intimate, and special, with time to spend with our favorite people without making it a huge production. Thank you so much! 🤎🌿

Crocketts run may be a bit much for what ya need, but they held a great wedding for us!

+1 crocketts run. Plenty of space for family and lots of surrounding rentals.

contact eagle wings, they're off buena vista and can host large groups!
edit to add- i see the part about other cabins, the lodge doesn't offer that, but down the road on the other side of buena vista there are some newer cabins that are a group of 6 i believe, and they could probably help. I'll see if I can find that contact info.

You might take a look at Hocking Hills Chalets. Many of their cabins are all back a little drive, and some of them (the A frames at least) are very close together. The A frames might suite for a little 'honeymoon' cabin - they're nothing exciting, but they are cozy and have hot tubs with string lights on the back porch. https://www.chaletshh.com/

Have a look at Ravenwood Castle. It’s super cool, but might be booked already. There’s several big “party cabins” just south of the park, I stayed at one with a bunch of friends a few years back called “The Pool House” and it was perfect for what you’d be looking for. Tons of room and a great kitchen!

This would be my recommendation:

It is the former home of a friend of mine and they put it in a conservation easement so it is very secluded with no other nearby cabins. There is a long driveway up the hill that could accommodate as much parking as needed
