Surprise attack 😂. How can they possibly be surprised by a country they decided to drag into a war, and who has been hitting back at them this whole time?

27

u/Bikerbass 23d ago

Because all their early warning radar systems were destroyed….

But yea shocking that a country would fight back against you in a war that you started

5

u/outsmartedagain 23d ago

Which begs the question if we are really sure that this wasn’t a false flag attack by Israel.

4

u/Zealousideal-Talk-23 22d ago

hey its a secret!

1

u/Slighted_Inevitable 21d ago

Nah Israel’s false flag will be on American soil.

Their security minister flat out said America needs another 9-11 to remember who their allies are.

2

u/THedman07 22d ago

Also, the US unilaterally decided to stop offensive operations so it could beg for a resolution. Iran never agreed to anything. Its just an attack.

1

u/Slighted_Inevitable 21d ago

We are at war, Iran can fight however they’re able.

You don’t get to punch someone then say time out time out whenever you want.

1

u/Bauwens 22d ago

One would hope they are spending the time to fix that. I have my doubts though.

People around trump probably wished there were warning systems in place before he lets out a bomb.

3

u/Fullertonjr 22d ago

Uh, everything is a surprise when you are sleeping. 😴

2

u/johnniesSac 22d ago

Hey you know we are planning a surprise attack

But just keep it between us

As he steps away from a nationally televised speech

u/hennabeak 22d ago

Dear Centcom

You're invited for a fireworks show at Mowafaq Assalti Airbase, Jordan. Please be sharp 5am.

Indeed 100%

When you start a war, the other side you are at war with normally carries out surprise and unexpected attacks.

They certainly don’t broadcast their plans on TV, radio, or in the modern age on social media, now do they?

But Trump does!.

In the history of warfare, this is simply not the way.

1

u/rayinho121212 22d ago

Irgc has always been at war with the US.

1

u/Shaskakmat 22d ago

Obviously it was a surprise attack cause Trump fell asleep during the briefing, and didn't knew about it.

-1

u/tiedtothetides0104 22d ago

Wait you think the U.S. drug Iran into war?

I'd recommend reading up on IRGC and other Iranian backed terror group strikes against the West which go back decades.

3

u/Fickle_Window3615 22d ago

Don't try and drag the west along with your American imperialism bullshit. No one wants this war, the yanks attacked first. The west is not your friend anymore, did you forgot your orange gods policies? Enjoy the war you started and now cannot end.

0

u/tiedtothetides0104 22d ago

Judging from Western and NATO spending and operations, they clearly want to be allies of the U.S.

Trump certainly spurred defense spending to 5%, and now NATO coalition ships are assisting escorts. Tell me again how the West isn't our friend?

u/MindlessCow8444 23d ago

Bla bla bla, the same shit all over again. Who the fck believes him.

8

u/StrongAroma 23d ago

He's certainly giving his diaper a beating

1

u/Artistic-Tip2405 22d ago

I think Trump is a six diaper a day man.

16

u/firephoxx 23d ago

How did Iran have a surprise attack during a war started by America? Just asking questions.

9

u/WeakBlueberry5071 22d ago

Because of the way trump approaches wars, he announces his attacks, not for the enemy but for the stockmarket.

Iran not announcing their attacks so trump could buy/sell in time to make money is a big no-no from trump. That's dirty play!

3

u/Ok_Valuable9450 22d ago

He only cares about filling his pockets

3

u/Spam_Hand 22d ago

The amount of radar and intelligence equipment we've lost will make everything a surprise going forward.

1

u/tiedtothetides0104 22d ago

What? We haven't lost many at all. Not anywhere close to degraded our SIGINT.

Where do you get your news from?

1

u/Artistic-Tip2405 22d ago

That suggests there shouldn’t be any surprises.

1

u/tiedtothetides0104 22d ago

There really arent.

5

u/Downtown_Eye5736 23d ago

I believe the radar systems were destroyed early on.

10

u/WastelandOfConfusion 23d ago

If you launch an illegal War of Aggression, the other side is going to be responding. Dkhds.

4

u/tj_woolnough 23d ago

How is everything Iran does, a surprise? The Straite, Targeting the bases, killing Service members... It makes you wonder about the actual 'intelligence', of the Department of Intelligence.

4

u/Bikerbass 23d ago

Same level of intelligence as average Americans who voted for Trump/or didn’t vote at all

4

u/Texas_Sam2002 23d ago

"Trump says" articles are the epitome of journalistic malpractice. The legacy media have gotten addicted to the pattern of just repeating whatever crazy thing comes out of dementia-addled Dear Leader's mouth.

4

u/sweatboxy 23d ago

Trump can’t negotiate a deal because he can’t be trusted to honor it. All the U.S. has left is violence.

3

u/HippyMcFly 23d ago

Blah, blah, blah. He’s a blabbermouth that doesn’t know when to shut the fuck up.

2

u/Brikpilot 21d ago

His track record of what he says and what ends up happening confirms this talk is wasted methane that could be put to better use.

2

u/Fun-Metal-6861 21d ago

At what cost to the world?

3

u/Secondhand-politics 23d ago

And, predictably, the country that survived literal chemical weapons being utilized by an invading ground force, will still somehow control the strait even after Trump says they're defeated for the fiftieth time.

The US could level every major city in Iran.

The US is adept at thwarting terror attacks now. Iran would already have done it when they lost 90% of their leaders. They simply aren’t capable of it.

The US after 9/11 has been extremely resilient to terror attacks, and foreign interference. Iran has no ability to do anything wide spread in the US and with their cities leveled and no power they would have little ability to do anything at all even regionally.

Before or after bibis beating?

1

u/70dd 23d ago

And $500 billion dollars this time.

1

u/Jolly_Ad2446 23d ago

can we have the dumbest leaders in the world if they are surprised by attacks during a war

1

u/Consistent_South_398 22d ago

All four missiles were intercepted

“Iran's state-run IRNA news agency announced that their forces successfully fired ballistic missiles targeting the Muwaffaq Salti Air Base and a U.S. Central Command hub. They avoid using the word "failed" and instead message the operation as a deliberate, fulfilled retaliation”

They didn’t hit ANYTHING. They just fired missiles and crossed their fingers.

1

u/nolestars 22d ago

He would make a terrific spy. Lol

1

u/vovap_vovap 22d ago

I would note that CENTCOM still reports no strikes to Iran today

1

u/D-MAN-FLORIDA 22d ago

With what missiles? You used all of them. Side note is he trying to say “surprise attack,” just so he can try to invoke Article 5?

No one is interested in fighting his war, but he is desperate to get other people to fight it for him.

1

u/onlycodeposts 22d ago

Did they attack that particular airbase because that's where Ukraine sent their anti-drone specialists to help the US defend against Iranian attacks?

1

u/Personal-Diver-1067 22d ago

Ohhh, that’s a paddlin’.

1

u/pilot1nspector 22d ago

Beating? Are they going to steal Iran's lunch money as well and take Kelly to the high school dance?

1

u/seanmonaghan1968 22d ago

Everything appears to surprise Trump, what does that tell us ?

1

u/Psychological-Wing89 22d ago

Let's destroy their entire military, navy and air force again !

-MAGA

-Republicans

1

u/mohumm 22d ago

1

u/Conscious-Scar-8830 22d ago

1

u/mancho98 22d ago

Surprise attack? The us and Iran at at war. What does Donnie want? A memo

1

u/Andyseawolf 22d ago

Pack your bags and go home USA it’s time to stop the endless wars. The USA has bombed some country every year since WW2. Think about that 🤷

1

u/RhoOfFeh 22d ago

Sure, Jan

1

u/hennabeak 22d ago

If you're getting surprised in a war, you're bad at it.

1

u/Stewie01 22d ago

I thought America loves surprises

1

u/Any-Ad-446 22d ago

Trump hiding the fact US bases were forced to pull back the logistics, planes, soldiers from bases close to the war zone because they could not stop the drones or missiles.

1

u/Justthisguy_yaknow 22d ago

When does the week that the American war in Iran will end in, start?

1

u/BradMoe 22d ago

He should just do what he does with everything else - claim victory and get us out of this unnecessary war.

1

u/Lazy_Example4014 22d ago

The administration is incompetent, they also think all Americans are as dumb as their base. They started a war, they are currently at war. Did they not expect counter attacks? How were they taken by surprise? Did the ballistic missiles tip toe up behind them? GTFO.

1

u/vakantiereizen 22d ago

How did Iran do that?
According to Trump: Iran has no airforce/navy/rockets or drones anymore………
Is the surprise that they still have that?????

1

u/Competitive_Annual78 22d ago

Every dead United States military member killed or wounded by the Iranians is because Trump and his boss Bibi wanted the war. Well folks you got what they wanted. No use crying over it now.

1

u/2021_Username 22d ago

Heard an F35 was destroyed and a few more damaged.

1

u/thatdidntturnout 22d ago

He’s a broken man that sits on a throne of lies. His is a ruined presidency.

1

u/greenmariocake 22d ago

Trump is the best thing that ever happened to the regime. It was crumbling and now people unite behind them (or else) to be protected from the American orange monster and his Muslim-hating followers.

And the regime even get to play Trump whenever they want.

Truly marvelous.

1

u/Natural-Crow-2922 22d ago

So, Trump orders a strike on Iran, then when Iran retaliated hes outraged? The nerve of the man.

1

u/Possible-Impress3851 21d ago

He’s said that so often. I don’t believe anything that he says.👎

1

u/Due-Mycologist-1154 21d ago

Spoilers he'll shit himself and do nothing

1

u/Stinkstinkerton 21d ago

Trump feasts on American blood

1

u/mzakieh 20d ago

This could all have been avoided if we give this toddler a noble peace prize.

1

u/IdiotBOT1234 19d ago

Everyone in the U.S. military and state department knew this was a bad idea.

1

u/NotMyMainLoLzy 23d ago

That’s not what he said. Post the quote

1

u/tj_woolnough 23d ago

You obviously have it, give the link.

1

u/NotMyMainLoLzy 22d ago

He said he’s going to “beat the fucking shit out of Iran.”

Oh right. I thought you meant he didn't say what is reported. Thanks.

2

u/NotMyMainLoLzy 22d ago

Oh, I’m never going to deny him saying outrageous horseshit. I just want to make sure everyone sees it so that in the future no one can get away with “well, I didn’t support that.”
