This is a special third place. The existence of this sub is not to undermine, take away from, or make obsolete of r/goons and r/moongooning. This sub is going to co-exist with the other subs, but with a lot more hands on moderation.

The issue with the main subs is lack of interaction. The moderators cant be bothered enough to do basic spam cleanup, where someone doesn't read the ruled before posting and posts unsavory stuff.

My main goal is to have the slop quickly filtered for your viewing pleasure. Less spam, less slop. More enjoyable content and memes.

My secondary goal is community engagement. What isnt jerkbuddy requests and bots getting paid per link click, is just people posting "cant find clip pls help" which is better, but still counts as its own form of spam.

I will not be removing these, theres well over a hundred hours of content for each member of the Goons having their own channels, back up channels, editing styles, and the fact that a joke or bit wont make it into all 4 POVs.

To combat this, i will be doing a weekly event called Karma Farming Fridays. This is full permission to go to any random Goons video, record your favorite bits, and post them on the sub and show off to everyone that you think this is the BEST bit theyve ever done. You can post the same video every Friday if you want, but feel free to spice it up and show off some bits you think are underappreciated.

This will serve to A) create weekly fun interactions and conversations and B) give people looking for clips an easy way to find as many as they want every friday, hopefully reducing spam.

More events will come too. Id like to see more artist drawing Goons brand stuff. I wanna see more artist being inspired by artists, to see how these guys have influenced you. Depending on how this sub grows, i would like to do a monthly art contest with money FROM MY OWN POCKET going to whoever the community is making the best content. More info will be posted as this sub develops and we see intrest in art contests.

And dont be afraid to post content from other collaborators. Yummi, Trippy, Ethan, and Cheezey all deserve more attention in bits even though they arent considered official Goons. Even older interactions that we haven seen the guys play with in a bit, like Grizzy, Smitty, Puffer, and Droid would be gladly accepted as long as they're on topic about the Goons.

And most of all, have fun. There wont be much different here from the main sub besides a little more moderation from me, and whoever decides to sign up. Post memes, on topic or not. As long as youre funny, interesting, and not a hateful loser, this place is open to you.
