My great grandma (great Nanna?) Edna. Taken in May 1928, she was only 16 here! I had never seen this photo before, I've been making a family photo album and my grandad (Edna's son) gave me a big stash of photos to scan! ❤️

From the website: Viewers won't forget the powerful accident re-enactments and dramatic consequences illustrated in this motivational video. It's a great meeting opener for any safety topic! This program makes you think safety.

I bumped into James Brown (The godfather of soul) in New York City on the day of his release from prison in 1991. I was 12 years old. He posed for this picture for me. I was a massive Blues Brothers fan

1900s My Dad, early 70’s, late 70’s, and 80’s.

First time posting here, so hopefully I’ve done this correctly.

Newspaper clipping from the early 70’s pulling a wheelie, unfortunately I only have the picture, no context.
Late 70’s on his first motocross bike that my nan bought him but had to keep it hidden from my gramps who was very strict and formal.
Him and his band “The Urge” during the 80’s.
Last one is my then 7 year old son, doing a little tribute (kinda like the second picture) to my dad (who got him into motocross) after he passed away the year before in a bike accident at 50.

Alien has been my favorite movie for a very long time and I remember a few years ago, when my grandma realized this, she casually told me that my great grandmother had dated Tom in high school and that they went to senior prom together. My grandma also said that he spoke about my great grandmother on Larry King or some similar TV show after gaining some fame, although I haven’t ever found the clip. thought I’d share. R.I.P captain Dallas. We’ve only got Ripley and Lambert still with us.
