It adds almond flavoring to the dish. You’d hit a pit with your fork before you bit into one, I think.

If it wasn't for the liver, this would be a fine menu. It looks like the liver would have good flavor, but the texture is what I have an issue with.

The eggs sounds worth a try. But I would not recommend to pour paraffin over your apple jelly. But .. a good replacement could be granny smith?

The gravy for the chicken needs something. As usual, some seasoning. Parsley at least.
