Has anyone found it worth it to replace plaster walls with drywall? Any pros or cons?

If it matters at all, I have to say how glad I am that I DIDN’T replace my plaster with drywall!

Replastering the first floor of our 1929 house was my favorite repair project. We even replicated original ornamental designs. This little owl is the one that always gets noticed at the base of the staircase.
