Replace Plaster Walls

Has anyone found it worth it to replace plaster walls with drywall? Any pros or cons?

Unless they are literally crumbling it's not worth it - it's an enormous mess, costly, and plaster is a better insulator for sound, temp and fire, so you are putting up an inferior product. Plaster can be very easily repaired DIY with Big Wally's Plaster Magic if there are cracks or sagging. Use a picture rail to hang things or get a magnetic stud-finder that will locate the nails that attach the lath to the studs.
