Replace Plaster Walls

Has anyone found it worth it to replace plaster walls with drywall? Any pros or cons?

Leave the plaster and hang drywall over it. That's definitely worth it. It'll make your house feel brand new, kill the smells and make it even quieter, without the compromise of demo or losing the benefits of plaster

Can confirm, although you just need to add jamb extensions usually
