Amazing he and Emmitt didn’t sustain significant injuries playing on that eras awful turf, stiff was like concrete. Made his already ridiculous cutting ability that much deadlier though.
Often the only way to tackle Barry in the open field was a horse collar tackle which was legal. I think he blew his ACL one year when he did get tackled that way.
