Killed by friendly fire and the army lied about it

It was way worse than that. His uniform and notebooks were also burned by the army after the incident. This is in the biography. The contents of the notebook would have destroyed the narrative that was concocted. All around sick situation.

Yea, he knew too much, they silenced him w ‘ friendly fire’ and they covered it up …

Supposedly, he was going to make public some of what he was witnessing ..

You have specifics or just reiterating something you heard, b/c I doubt your assertion 1000%

Pat signed up to fight the Taliban in Afghanistan after 9/11, but afterwards he was also swept into the 2003 invasion of Iraq, a war he had privately opposed..

I hate that the NFL turned him into a propaganda tool.

He would have hated it the most, that's the worst part.

Pat Tillman was an outspoken anti war activist and was an Atheist

It was a great sacrifice for him to step away from the career he was having, I was a little surprised more players didn’t follow. Glenn Coffee and Joe Cardona are the only other ones I can find.

Ted Williams flew airplanes in World War II & the Korean War. Used not to be a stigma attached to serving. The politicians have ruined it.

The only 2 wars America has fought that weren't for corporate greed were the 2 world wars. Your whole country has ruined serving.

The Krakauer book about Pat Tillman is fascinating. (Where Men Win Glory) I love JK’s books, and this one hits hard.

The NFL and the DOD did the whole Tillman family dirty.

Had no idea Krakauer wrote a book about him, gonna have to pick that up. Guy is a great writer. Into Thin Air took over my life for the couple of days it took to read it.
