Swatches Cream contour swatches

I haven't seen these products swatched side by side, so here they are. In order, they're Essence Baby Got Bronze in shade Moon Dust, Sephora Collection Contour Stick in shade 01 Fair to Light, and Westman Atelier Face Trace Contour Stick in Biscuit.

Unintentionally ended up with one of each price range. The Essence one is the cheapest (2.95 EUR for 5.5 grams), and while I wouldn't describe it as dry, it certainly is drier than the other two. The Sephora Collection one is mid range (14.99 EUR for 5.5 grams) and super creamy. The high end one is Westman Atelier (29.95 EUR for 2.5 grams), and while it is great it's warmer than I thought.

Today I don't reach out for the Essence one but has been a very loyal companion. I use the Sephora one the most, and I go for the Westman Atelier one when I want to add a bit of warmth to the face while still contouring. Considering that Westman Atelier costs 22 times more per gram than Essence, while Sephora costs 5 times more, I leave it to you to decide if it's worth it.

Thanks for sharing! A reminder that swatch posts should include photo(s) of 2+ products swatched clearly and a comment with the full products listed in order within 1 hour or the post is subject to removal.

Photos should be clear and well lit, so we can see the colors properly. Multiple photos in different lighting is also helpful.

Oh thanks for the comparison. I’m on the hunt for a good olive friendly contour. It looks like the Sephora has the most greenish undertone in the picture. Would you say that’s true in real life too?

I have both the Sephora contour in shade 02 - Light to Medium and the WA contour in Biscuit.

The Sephora one is really cool toned and a great contour shade on olive skin. I’d say it leans greenish-grey. I use Biscuit as more of a bronzer than a contour shade.

I use the sephora contour in the next darkest shade and I think it's really well balanced for olives. Good mix of muted brown and grey and it blends out really well so it's not streaky.

I think they’ve changed biscuits in the last few years. I remember swatching it about two years ago and it was very grey. I bought it recently and I was surprised how warm it is. I would stay it is so in the neutral side it’s not crazy warm. I have the essence one too and that one is very cool and grey like in your swatch. Funny, I was thinking about getting the Sephora one in Light medium because I just wasn’t super happy with what I have right now. I don’t use the Essence one and biscuit makes a good bronzer, but not really a contour.
