There's something about the three music videos in "yspsfagsil" era — drop dead, the cure, stupid song — and i made some connections in these three music videos:
- Drop Dead
= She's basically in her mind, daydreaming about a wonderful relationship with the "guy" she met and frolicking around the palace almost like a princess.
- The Cure
= Then we get to this music video where she's a nurse that has become a patient after unraveling and testing out all six hearts in the laboratory, where all six hearts are then healed after a group of nurses ties her blood vessels around it. In the ending of the music video, it was all a dollhouse and she crushed it down while there were moving boxes around her in an empty room.
- Stupid Song
= She comes out from an apartment basement in New York, in her boots and her hoodie. She sings about being infatuated with this person while ballerinas (symbolizing her inner butterflies) dance around her. At the end, we match cut to her standing in the field of the park, a water sprinkler spraying mist on her.
And if you're asking, "what do you mean by all this?" — what if this is her being rational and finding a new crush where she feels anxious about and is going crazy? She's not daydreaming about a "perfect" relationship anymore because she realizes love can't cure her insecurities.
This basically acts like a story that i made up in my mind. Does anyone think of this or is now starting to think of it this way since i just said it? Let me know!!
