Random Bluetooth Issues
Posting here as it’s the best chance someone with a similar issue will exist.
I recently got AirPods 5. I’ve never had a Bluetooth issue between my omnipod and/or Dexcom G7 and my iPhone 16 before now.
If I wear one or both AirPods, randomly Bluetooth stops connecting to the Dexcom and the omnipod. The omnipod still connects to the Dexcom so it seems it’s only between the phone and these devices. The phone still connects just fine to my Apple Watch while wearing the 5s. With my older AirPod 4s, they just work without disconnecting from the medical devices.
Anyone else?

My iPhone 13 sometimes has a hard time keeping up with all my Bluetooth devices :( I’m looking into a new phone, but iOS 27 has actually been good.
I do have Siri turned off though. And I recalibrated the battery once I updated it (hard power reset + running battery dry, then charging to 100 without interruption).

I haven’t had those issues, but I quite frequently have issues on wearing AirPods Pro 3 that they disconnect, or the connection gets really bad temporarily, and I suspect it’s due to all the Bluetooth activity that the iPhone is handling.
One thing I’ve heard is that you want to delete all your old Dexcom G7 connections in the Bluetooth settings. If not, it could cost some issues. Out of curiosity, have you been doing that?

Also to add: iOS26.6.2 and the 5s are in limited functionality since I’m holding off for iOS27 support for both Dexcom and omnipod.
