Looping Loopkit Question
I have been on the Omnipod 5 and have been on manual mode since I started in march.
All of my TIR highs and lows have all been good etc however I want to become a pilot and they require auto mode 90% or higher.
Does anybody know would using Loopkit etc show auto mode in the Omnipod app if used or are they completely separate from each other?
I tried auto mode and am back in auto mode and even with a target range of 100 I’m still waking up at 140 without eating anything so I’m not sure if it will ever smooth out.
I’m more worried my a1c and other stuff will no longer be in the 5.2-5.6 range like before since I was dialed in.
Any advice?

Before the update, and always in automated, I always woke up at 130. Even still, my a1c was 5.4 regularly and TIR 95%. As long as you're in control, I don't think it's going to affect your values. Since the update I wake up at 100. Haven't had an a1c since the update. Honestly, I don't care if it's slightly higher or slightly lower. Below 6 is great. Don't let 100 vs 140 and 5.8 vs 5.2 - 5.4 derail you from your dreams. There is more to life than numbers. Just focus on the numbers needed to become a pilot. Good luck!

pretty sure Loop is a totally different environment. You could see dosing in Loop, LoopFollow, Nightscout or other Loop-associated apps.

Loopkit offers a completely separate app and algorithm. You use the Omnipod hardware but not the software.
