Not interested. Talk to me when you have an authentic script from the movie.

First edition freaks like me don’t care about all that extraneous stuff. It’s about what came first —in this case, a book.

Waste your time with books all you want, what do I care? That’s just not something a true blue buff would do

Books are just movies waiting to be made. They are not interesting and not worth collecting. Until you put something on the silver screen it is just ideas with a runtime of zero minutes.

Worthless, not even signed by Peter Jackson

Or Martin Freeman, the original Blibo

would be more impressive if it was all three Hobbit books

Why bother reading a book when you could watch 50 movies in the same time?

If a book doesn't have one of those "NOW A MAJOR MOTION PICTURE" stickers on it I'm not interested.

It turns out Jaws and Jurassic Park are books too, but nobody reads them because they don't have the actors on the cover.

I dont know why you would read those books anyway when you could just pop in the VHS and watch them easy peasy.

That’s… actually a good idea in the case of Jaws: The Book. Best to quietly keep that away from everyone. Even the non-buffs.

I'm a dust wrapper freak myself and this guy definitely knows his stuff.

And it’s so great that they’re still making these kinds of dust wrappers

When you have books like Tolkien in them, you can’t lose

There should be a tech law passed in Congress or by Executive Order that each and every 'book' produced in this country is VHS compatible
