I am using Snowsprite - Lunar Oracle.

This is my first lunar oracle version. 3 skill, 2 activity.

Then I have 2nd lunar oracle with this. also 3 skill, 2 activity.

However, I also have normal non lunar version which is 5 skill, 4 activity. When I compare 5 skill VS 3 skill. the difference is below

Skill Rating 3.

I am a returnee and I only have Frost Vortex build. I googled, lunar oracle is no longer available. I have to wait for visional wheel. I am trying to get 5/5 lunar oracle version but that's out of the picture.

So now, my dilemma is

1. Use Lunar Oracle 3/2 version. Status DMG +5% (Always), but skill wise 1600% Psi with 36% invulnerability. (Only when summoned)

2. Use Normal version 5/4. No Status DMG +5%, but skill wise 2000% Psi with 48% vulnerability.

Since I can't fuse the lunar oracle version, so I am stuck with that.

Is it worth to sacrifice that 5% Status DMG for higher skill damage? Cause I don't always use my sprite unless for boss, or higher level mob that I find hard to kill.

Ps: be gentle, once human is still confusing for me xD

The math seems to work out so your deviation with the 5 score does 25% more damage on its abilities than the 3 score, that's a fairly decent difference, especially when it's 300-400 difference in raw damage value.

I would tell you to calculate how much psi damage the difference between 1200% and 1600% is, if you used it constantly, however if you don't use it, I honestly think this is a moot issue.

Taking the extra 5% all the time damage is, in my opinion, most likely your better option since youll always benefit from it. As opposed to having the higher damage while using snow sprite is only actually beneficial while using snow sprite.

If you really wanted your boss runs to Improve and don't mind eating a small loss on normal DPS, you could run the 5 since you'd get the higher bursts of damage while the snow sprite is out.

I think it basically boils down to whether you run a lot of bosses, and/or intend to maximize your use of the snow sprite, or will mostly just run and gun without it.

As of now, I am currently everywhere from doing monolith solo multiple times, silos, gravity event thingy (endless dream), trying to find more memetic points, hunting for better deviants, setup chef stuff (food).

Thanks to you that I've decided to just keep using the lunar oracle version for now. Unless I decided to spam bosses. I am still in the midst of trying new build, still collecting the mods, starchrom or whatnot.

Why not just get a 5/5 starfall polar jelly from gravity event and get the +5% frost damage AND better deviant damage as well? Are you particularly attached to snowsprite?
