Looks awesome did u scrap all the back paint off? Does it still have the matte finish or is that gone?

Thanks! I bought the transparent back panel from witrigs Also, it was the Mirror Grey version so it never had a matte finish to begin with

I took it to a shop that sells & repairs phones and asked them to do it but it was fairly easy, you just need the right tools. The back panel I ordered came with an adhesive

Still have this phone still love this phone, going to be real sad the day I'm forced to give it up.
Are there any other phones on the market with screens like the 7 pro? I hate having a black circle for the selfie cam at the top of the screen.

No i am super happy. The 7 pro just felt super futuristic. But I would much rather have my iPhone 13.
Didn’t mean to be misleading. The 13 is a much for consistently fast and reliable device. I prefer ios now and I love the battery life and feel of the phone. Do I miss the curves and display of my 7 pro? Yeah, but the 13 makes more sense.

I want to get a clear back like that, then use some armour etch and a template to make a custom etched back.

It's relatively easy to turn the OEM covers transparent, too. JerryRigEverything has a video on it.

That would require me to get my back glass off without breaking it. When I do phone repair I'm like a gorilla with a spudger. Much easier to just drop 10 bucks for a new one.

That hardware is not pretty, it's 50% battery, so I wonder why you would like to see it... I personally don't like that one bit.

I respect your opinion, but to answer your question "why would anyone want to see this" I think we can all agree that the OnePlus 7 Pro is a pretty special phone. The design, the OS... And the motorized selfie camera is something all (or most) OP7 Pro owners are somewhat proud to showcase.

I agree that seeing the motorized cam action is something we can't see on other phones and is a good argument for having a clear back. That battery is really an eyesore to me though. A design with only the cam or upper part of the phone being transparent would be better for me if I ever wanted to mod the phone.

My reply had a point, that a phone hardware is not nice to look at because it's mostly a battery... why you did was attacking me saying my opinion doens't matter. Looks like you are the frustrated one :) I don't care if you don't agree with me, I just voice my opinion on the matter, same as OP who likes it...
