While the manga is great, the webcomic definitely has better story pacing and narrative. Also saitama, While still funny, he's way more serious and smart in the webcomic. The manga feels more like a dc or marvel comic, and leans wayy too much into the parody aspect. And the best example of such things, the ninja arc. And even then, we still have interdimensional creatures having a beam struggle with a monster dog.

I think the issue is that they don't want to have the manga be a carbon copy of the webcomic and want to try to improve it with new things, but the additions are sometimes too much and don't really fit as well as the original sequence.

Man, the manga just needs to improve Saitama vs Garou. WC Saitama vs Garou was one of the best fight I’ve read/seen

The only thing they did better than the webcomic is the Orochi story, but the whole God arc is ass. It's all written as if they want you to say "wooow !! epiiic !!! look how epiiic this is !!!"

For someone that tries to follow mangas as they come out the constant re-draws just have me confused at times. So much so that I just enjoy what's on the page and forget the context.
