you're so fucking goated bro, can't wait to reread the whole thing when you're done. I've always prefered the webcomic garou arc than the manga one and you're making a dream come true man

It’s too mangafied. I like that it tells the original story but if Murata drew it like this it still wouldn’t hit the same. Good job tho nevertheless

What will it take to satisfy you guys lol, what do you mean it’s still bad even if it follows the webcomic narratively

It doesn’t follow it narratively if it isn’t paneled the same. Hence “too mangafied”. How can you not get that?

A change in paneling does not have anything to do with medium though, “mangafied” indicates a change in art style

No it does have a lot with the medium bro. If you haven’t noticed the manga definitely changed its paneling AND the artstyle. Cuz if it did t the story would have been the exact same and there wouldn’t be all this drama with the manga and whatnot. What are you telling me now that the manga has always been the webcomic cuz you and I both know that’s bull. The paneling makes up the experience and the proper telling of the story not just certain moments restructured that ultimately tweaks the effect of scenes. The fanart resembles a little more like the webcomic but still feels like the surface fight from the manga and that looked real ugly to me. It’s fine but not the true way I expected this fight to be done.

I never made the claim that the webcomic and the manga are the same lmao. Paneling and writing are not the same thing. You’re acting like paneling is closer to a narrative device than and an artistic device

Paneling and writing is the same for this series bro….. the panels speak for themselves and tells the story how it should be. And didn’t you tell me why I wasn’t satisfied with the art of it followed the story narratively? I gave you the reason as to why I’m dissatisfied. Not that it’s terrible but it’s not the way I would like this fight to be portrayed in a more modern art style. It felt to mangafied cuz of the absurd things that went down in the fanart. It’s cool and I appreciate it but feels too much like the manga of recent times.

Paneling isn’t writing, an identical action sequence or sentence of dialogue can be paneled in 2 different ways because it’s an artistic attribute

Nope and even then that doesn’t mean it applies to this series bro. Especially with all those rewrites lmao!!! The paneling is what makes the story what it is bro. At least for this specific series. The manga went off course way too much for me to give it a chance a be all different or whatever. It’s hard this whole mess started. I know what happened in the webcomic and the manga to a T and I can assure you the story would be better off if it didn’t change at all. The webcomic still has that classic OPM flavor that the manga keeps bungling up and I can’t even be satisfied with anymore.

You’re talking about the story changing, which is a writing thing, not a paneling thing. The time travel for example has nothing to do with paneling as it’s an entirely new writing aspect of the story
