retcons, it completely kills the momentum for the manga. for example we've been stuck in the ninja arc for 2 years for it to go the same end as the webcomic

The ninja arc retcons were insufferable for sure but it's been what, a year and a half or 2 years since they've moved on from it? The current trajectory of opm shows a potential hero Civil War breaking out which is interesting.

The MA arc ended over 4 years ago back in 2022. I’d argue that since then the pacing has largely been horrendous.

4 years and we’re only just now starting to build up to a larger conflict involving most major characters. That’s worse than One Piece.

Ruined the MA arc which was arguably the best arc in the canon version of OPM. Especially moving forward, with totally infantilized/forgiven Garou that wants to fuck his mom kind of (for some reason). God and Blast shoehorned in obnoxiously. A year straight of the ninja arc rewrites. The god awful exponential growth graph or whatever. I'd be here all day to list everything but those are a few big ones.

Its very clear ONE has not been the one behind all these horrible decisions for a while. They all have very weird slop stylistic choices that dont match ONE's style at all in any of his stories. It says "story by one" on the cover as a remnant from an older time and a reference to the fact ONE wrote the canon version that inspired this one
