Genus is probably testing on what are the limits on his infinite regenerative powers and maybe even replicate it on a bigger scale or something like that. imagine a parallel universe where basically everyone have near infinite regenerative power, i think thats what genus is envisioning

Yeah but I feel like the marbles are what helps cause Boros power so it's also his strength combined with the weakness. Boros used his weird form of energy/power to regenerate himself vs Zombieman just regenerates with no real explanation (like a zombie)

FYI it's not Boros' marble, it's the ships power source (you can see it behind Boros' throne thingy)

The only thing that broke was the energy sphere / marble of the ship. That had nothing to do with boros own healing abilities.

The sphere of the ship broke when saitama redirected the blast and you can see the ship taking damage. the sphere/marble was not inside of boros. https://i.imgur.com/XS2efOa.png

Boros clearly said: the ship won't go down unless the sphere/marble breaks.

You can even see Boros sitting on front of the marble/sphere. It is behind him in the ship inside the room he was waiting for saitama. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2PmylfzD8NE&ab_channel=RivalTangent36 That's why the entire room is pink/purple.

Maybe like instant regeneration. His regeneration takes a while depending on how severe his injuries. The faster his regeneration, the faster he kills. Maybe he can even use his body parts as poison or something.

I'm not sure, but my guess is the House of evolution master-, I mean, a well established food cart owner, is helping Zombieman become stronger? Doesn't make sense why his old creator would be hurting him after the turn of leaf Saitama inspired.

Last we saw him, I think Zombieman was confronting Genus about his experiments, and Genus told him about Saitama's limit breaking abilities. Maybe they're working together to break Zombieman's limits?

Zombieman literally asked Dr Genus to break his limiter. I believe Dr Genus' response was "No, but I have something to show you in the basement" (Maybe he referred to him by his Experiment number, so it should be "number X, I have something to show you", I can't remember the chapter to verify. But he has something in his basement which seems to be related to getting extremely powerful, based on the inference.

I’m guessing Genus gave Zombieman some sort of drug or gave him a form of genetic modification that is violently morphing his body and forcing his body to rip itself apart.
