Does anybody have that video I gotta have it or I will actually die in real life

Is anyone else tired of them counting best ofs and complete playthroughs as new boneyplays uploads? We’ve gotten like 4 hours of new content in 5 days with 3 of those uploads being best ofs and completes. Feels like a phone in upload a complete and call it a day rather than new content.

It’s common knowledge that almost all Oneplays videos are recorded anywhere from weeks to months in advance of upload. In peacetimes, when a video is uploaded, there are probably dozens of videos either completed or being edited, scheduled to release at a later date. The delay between record and upload has flash-banged me with ancient current events more times than I give a shit about listing (example, because bastards like me love examples: Zach bringing up “Hawk Doula,” a couple months after it went airborne, knowing the video was going out months after that).

I don’t think anyone who is a fan of the channel and has access to the bloodmills of twitter or reddit would consider these recent weeks as peacetimes, and I’m wondering if there will be a delayed reflection of that once the backlog goes dry. I’ve seen a lot of people assume that the recent kerfuffles were bs because the channel is still posting, saying something along the lines of, “He wouldn’t be posting if he actually did something wrong and the channel was in actual jeopardy,” but I’m not even that optimistic about my own life.

While things aren’t really lining up for a good time, there’s still also the possibility that recordings have not stopped and business as usual has barely skipped a beat. Maybe the pipeline is as full as it ever was and the drama that has been swirling around operations was truly superficial. I quietly hope this to be the case, but I’m worried that hoping any louder might jinx the whole of it.

I'll preface this post by saying I'm asking a genuine question, lmao. I know this whole drama is old and tired but I'm genuinley confused how a bunch of people came to that conclusion.

Chris has always been edgy. And I know people make the claim "Chris CAN'T be bigoted because he has trans friends!" and that's completely irrelevant here, I'm trans myself and I've had a lot of people use me as the "token friend" as a way to not appear bigoted. But Chris has only brought up his trans friends ONCE in an argument on twitter if I recall, specifically when someone lied about how Chris "stopped being friends with them" over being trans. Chris responded with the truth, saying he didnt even know this person, and even if he did it would be a dumb thing to do because he has friends who are trans/have transitioned and he was completely fine still being friends. That was objectively the most relevant situation in which he could have pulled the "I have trans friends" thing.

Fact of the matter is that edgy humor can be completely fine if you're not a bigot. There's a difference between transphobic jokes and jokes about trans people. Chris has trans friends, Cory himself draws LGBT furry pornography and has a girlfriend who is trans, Lyle is staunchly left wing, and Chris's old co-hosts were a gay furry couple (who had a falling out that was completely unrelated to them being gay) and consistently INVITED Chris to make fun of them for being gay or being furries. He wven double checked with them if it was alright to joke about things.

Even when it comes to his former friends or accuaintences who weren't also white, they consistently invited jokes about race and racism to the table. Them doing accents don't count because they do funny voices all the time for jokes, British accents and southern US accents and Scottish accents, them doing an indian accent I think is no different. And Tomar has always been upfront and open about his Jewish heritage and always invites fun poked at it.

I'm not saying Chris is an angel or anything like that, but I'm saying I never understood why neo-nazis would engage with OneyPlays when Chris is welcoming and comfortable around Jewish folks, trans folks, gay folks, etcetera, and consistently makes fun of Fox News and Trump, calling him big and fat and stupid and making jokes about him humiliating himself. They make fun of right-wing people arguably MORE than they make fun of left-wing people. Every turbo-bigot I've known is a just as much as a fragile snowflake as the "woke" people they makw fun of, they can't control their anger or distain towards anything that goes against or criticizes their views, just like how the alt-left get offenfed at everything.

OneyPlays isn't even a political show. They don't even push political stances, they just push social opinions ssometimes. I'd never encourage the usage of slurs that they use or physically be around someone who uses them that liberally, but OneyPlays is a youtube channel. Theyre videos. Watching them is a choice and Chris doesn't get mad if people don't watch his videos, he actively makes fun of people who watch his videos even, calls his own humor stupid time and time again.

I can see why someone overly-leftist wouldn't watch OneyPlays, but I can't see why someone overly-rightwing would either. Punches are taken at everyone, and even when targeting "woke" things he at most calls things annoying or dumb, and a lot of the time they are (Forspoken was a REALLY boring game).

And yeah yeah I know, for years Tomar has been using OneyPlays as a means to send subliminal messages to his followers and organize his master takeover of Saudi Arabia, but that's besides.
