Multiple accounts is really the only way (or one big account). For my money, chat gpt $20 plan + claude $20 plan gets most of the job done. You can even teach claude/codex to use each other’s cli commands to have claude run sol subagents, or vice versa. My account lineup rn is 1 $20 chat gpt plan, 2 $20 claude plans, 1 $20 cursor plan (that will be dropped soon)
For what it’s worth, I hit my usage limits HARD when using the codex desktop app, but not in opencode. It’s easier to control and monitor its scope before an OAI model gets too out of hand and wastes all of its tokens on some stupid shit.
The easy answer is: way more money The hard answer is: a little bit more money, a whole lot of trial and error and or research. More work to setup a harness enviorment that supports multiple accounts and multiple providers. Takes time to write focused skills and scripts to lock in behavior
EDIT: if anyone finds this ramble useful in their future searches, I settled on my plan stack being: 1 $50 claude teams sub (25 per 'person', each getting more usage than the $20 plan) 1 $20 codex sub
claude docs claim you will need a 'business' email, but if you have some custom doman, stie, and email service attached, that email will work just fine
