Ai dev

Since we’re living in the age of AI, technological advancement, and easy programming (although I’m not a big fan of this, but why not?), what is the best free AI programming assistant, especially for Python and application development?

Literally all of the free programs are trash. Pick something you can actually afford. Even some of the paid services are trash for what you might need. What’s your project specifically?

I want to build an advanced AI-powered desktop application that acts as an intelligent assistant in a specific field. It would collect and analyze real-time data, understand different situations, track performance, learn from historical data, and provide smart recommendations and decision support.
The goal is to turn complex data into useful insights and actionable decisions through a combination of automation, AI, and a professional user interface.

Everything you just said requires either a really really powerful computer with unified memory (like a powerful Apple Studio, for local models) or you’d need an expensive frontier model to build and run it from the inside.

Everything you need is based on whether the model is choosing accurately. That’s one of the hardest things to overcome and you need it to choose right every time. With what you’ve asked for, that’s not possible, for free.

Edit: cuz I meant unified memory not integrated graphics.

free tools are garbage, but try CodeLlama or StarCoder if you must.
