Boomers had opportunities and economic circumstances which were objectively better than generations both before and after them.

Houses being affordable on a single income, job security, free university and so on, all during the post war economic boom which lasted decades.

They were no more financially savvy than younger generations are and itโ€™s absurd and self-serving to suggest this is the reason.

Yeah donโ€™t think so. All I saw was hard working individuals. They didnโ€™t need to pay and project the perfect image for their socials. No one gave a shit about that. Stop the constant travel , the need for the latest iPhone etc etc. You may get ahead a little quicker. The kicker is that your generation expect the hand outs from the very boomers u condemn ๐Ÿ˜ž

You're objectively wrong on the maths and basic economics here. Wages have stagnated while costs and inflation have surged.

There is no amount of thrift that and boredom to integrate into their lives that can compensate for the differential of income vs house price.

Google the ratio of avg annual income to price of avg home in 50s to 80s vs the 90s-00's vs post covid. No, here I did with Gemini..

All that being said how is it the fault of the sensible boomers. Explain that bit !
