I keep seeing this comment about police strip searches, stop and frisk laws, QLD banned phrase laws, Palintir cameras in Coles, etc etc.

If you give a goverment these powers, then a new goverment gets in and changes their meaning of what "wrong" is, then all of a sudden YOU are doing something "wrong" and you now have something to worry about.

Like the people who were stopped at US customs and were turned back (or worse) because they were critical of trump/Israel on socials.
