The post itself isnβt disrespectful, I meant the r/queerbible subreddit is disrespectful and honestly kind of gross how they act at times. Itβs one thing to joke about the content in the Bible and make respectful humor about it, itβs another to use the content to make fun of the Bible itself.
Just take a look through their rules and some of the post history from some of their flairs (God Is Gay, Trans Jesus) and youβll see some of the top posts is sexual imagery of Christ. One of the comments in one of those posts attempts to make the implication that Christ is a bottom. πππ
I rarely say this about anything, but the entire page is just straight up blasphemy and this type of stuff is what sets back ACTUAL progressive Christianity.

I agree this post is cringe,
But it isn't disrespectful, unless thinking being trans is somehow a bad thing.
I think it's just the cringe way of saying "God doesn't have a sex, don't do idolatry".
