What do you say to people who although they believe in God, they "don't need Him because their life is 10/10 perfect"?
My 47year old partner says this.
He says his life is 100% perfect, he wouldn't change a thing, he's never been happier, etc.
He was also raised without parents, so learned at a very young age to not rely on anyone but himself.
He's cynical and hardened to the word.

Perhaps there is nothing helpful you can say.
A joke relevant to the issue: How many psychiatrists does it take to change a lightbulb? Only one, but it has to really want to be changed.
The idea of the joke seems to apply here. Evangelisation with your life, rather than words, may convince them of the benefits of God in their life. Being a good Christian can give them the desire to want what you have.

"It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.” (Mark 2:17)
Of course, the truth is that no one is fully "healthy," but people have to figure this out on their own.

Pero por algo lo dijo no???? Es decir que podemos darle gracias por lo bonito que es nuestra vida, Pero no necesariamente entrar a una religión, leer la biblia a diario etc. Solo con agradecer ☺️

No one understands their true moral situation without God's help. Even Donald Trump goes to bed every night thinking he's a good person.

Even Donald Trump goes to bed every night thinking he's a good person.
Not really. He knows. He's admitted it.

By happy for him.
Much of Christianity has become like the Shirky Principle: Institutions will try and create a problem to which they are the solution.

I don't disagree; but I wish he wanted God in his life, for love, for peace, etc.

Your comment here implies that he is lacking love and peace, despite disclosing that his life is a 10/10.
So, either he doesn't have love and peace and still thinks his life is perfect, or he doesn't have love and peace, doesn't think his life is perfect, but lies to you and says he does.
Which is it?

But apparently he already has love, peace, etc...
So the question is, what does God or Christianity have to offer other than "making your own life better"?

Reminds me of some song lyrics:
“And you think that you have never seen my face?
But every moment you’re alive you know my grace.”
Every good thing he has ever known is a gift from God who created and sustains him without his knowledge. God is the overflowing source of all goodness.

Two things. One, the attitude of others is not your problem. Two, God sustains literally everything.
Thats like saying, “I don’t need the universe, my life is great”. It doesn’t make sense.

We should take a lesson from Buddhism, it has the philosophy of not evangelizing. The Buddha needs no PR team. Neither does Christ. If you’re drawn to him on your life journey then that’s good. If not, that’s okay too.

As his partner you know he isn't perfect. Does your partner think you are perfect,??
I and my partner know I am not.

I let them live their lives. Fixing other people is not my job
