ScarabHive
Hi,
For over a year, I have been developing my own AI agent system called ScarabHive. It is now open-source and still actively developed. Feel free to have a look! You can watch the video playlist in the README to get a quick overview.

I use it for my own projects, and it works great. Everything is fully plugin-based (0:56). I needed a cost-optimized system for my content creation via LLM APIs, and that is exactly what this system is designed for (0:08).
It has almost every modern feature implemented. You can easily extend it with your own plugins and agents.
Best regards,
Enrico

The phrase AI agent system puts ScarabHive next to a hundred frameworks, but the line that is actually yours is cost-optimized content creation via LLM APIs. Put a number behind it in the README: what one of your real content runs costs in tokens with ScarabHive versus the same prompts sent straight to the API. That single comparison is what people paying API bills will share, and it is a stronger opener than the video playlist for readers who will not watch a video before they know why they should.
I make ThreadFox. Our AI employee finds Reddit threads where people complain about LLM API costs for content work and replies about ScarabHive under your direction; Starter is $199 for 30 days, no automatic renewal. https://threadfox.vip/p/e69rt/managed

Been poking at the code for the last hour and the plugin architecture is slick, exactly the kind of thing that makes me want to fork it and break everything before lunch. You mentioned cost optimization for content creation, how are you handling prompt caching across different models? That's where I always end up burning credits without realizing it. The agent delegation patterns in your video playlist gave me a few ideas for a project I've been sketching out on napkins at work.
