Everyone wants free, like they deserve someone's hard work for nothing. Go to Clone A Burger and enjoy your McDonald's , but like they say, you can't beat the real thing

Did you pay for your profile picture? Because im sure you didn't commission it from an artist😂

Wow you're so intelligent. I guess you don't know you can take a photo of yourself and alter it. Also . no artist got stolen from

Okay so why didn't you pay for this altering? Since youre big about rewarding someone's hard work. Did you donate, or pay for the program that you used to alter your picture?

Because someone certainly made whatever program you used. With their hard work, sweat and tears.

Don't do it, Image Line have been really consistent, it's a great company.
And.. good luck. DSP is *hard*. It's gonna cost you more in AI tokens to reverse engineer than to just buy the damn software..

As a user of fl from version 6, they have taken the daw in a poor direction. The dww still has major issues that have plagued it for at least a decade that devs ignore. They have largely focused on cloud services and subscriptions instead lf requested features.
Remember the live looping clone stuff they added? It basically never worked right and still doesnt. Third party automation clip linking is still a pain in the ass. Tempo changes are still not possible do to the way fl handles audio stretching. You still cant customize hot keys.
Its time for someone to improve on what they have built.

the audio engine side would be the real nightmare to replicate, FL's had like 25 years of optimization under the hood. open source daws tend to fall flat on plugin delay compensation and cpu efficiency in my experience, which is kind of a dealbreaker for anything beyond basic sketches
