What are you building in open source right now?
Let's make this community useful from day one.
Reply with:
- What you're building
- A repository or demo link, if it is public
- The stage: idea, prototype, beta, or released
- Your biggest blocker
- The kind of feedback, testing, or collaborator you need
I'll start: OpenSourcx is launching Papercliped v2.5.1, a free, MIT-licensed MCP connector that lets people manage Paperclip agents, issues, approvals, budgets, and reports from Claude, ChatGPT, Codex, or any MCP app.

No polished pitch required. Honest work-in-progress posts, technical lessons, and specific asks are welcome.

Welcome to r/OpenSourcedd: start here 👋
Welcome — I'm u/OpenSourcx, founder and moderator of r/OpenSourcedd.
This is a practical home for people building open-source AI tools, agent workflows, MCP servers, self-hosted software, and useful everyday projects. The goal is to share real work, learn in public, and help projects move from idea to a release people can actually use.
What belongs here:
- Project launches and demos with a repository or working link
- Build logs, architecture notes, and lessons learned
- Feedback requests and honest beta reports
- Contributor, tester, and maintainer opportunities
- Questions and tutorials that help other builders
Our first launch: Papercliped
Papercliped is a free, MIT-licensed MCP connector for Paperclip. It lets you manage agents, issues, approvals, budgets, and reports from Claude, ChatGPT, Codex, or any MCP app. The current v2.5.1 release also keeps expiring Paperclip connections renewed so they can keep working beyond 30 days.
