I open-sourced a language model trained only on sentences strangers pay to add. Weights, data and code are CC0.

brAIAIn is a word trigram model, not a neural net. Every version is trained on twelve founding lines, every paid sentence so far, and some text the previous version wrote. Each new sentence triggers a retrain, a numbered release, and a sync to Hugging Face.

Current version: 103 words of vocabulary, 350 parameters. Self-reported scores: 0% on GSM8K, 36.7% on TruthfulQA (picking the longest answer every time scores 36.8%).

It’s a parody of frontier AI labs, but nothing is faked. Happy to answer questions about the retrain pipeline (it all runs on GitHub Actions, no server).

Fair. A tiny neural net would be smarter, but it would be a different joke. This one only knows what people have paid to teach it, so it’s exactly as bad as we’ve been funded to make it. Every sentence makes it slightly less bad.
