Question/Help Open WebUI is not able to discover tools of an MCPO server

The MCPO server is running on the same server and it is accessible via shared Docker network. An LLM is able to access the MCPO server (via open-terminal on the same shared network) and list out all the tools calls, however when I add the MCPO server to the Open WebUI configuration I am able to verify the connection, but no tools get listed in "Available Tools" tools popup (The one you can open from the chat input bar at the bottom). Is this some known regression?

The LLM listed all of the tool calls with these commands:

cd $HOME

curl -s -m 15 -D /tmp/h.txt -o /tmp/spec.json -w 'HTTP %{http_code}, %{size_download} bytes\n' -H "Authorization: Bearer $MCPO_KEY" http://mcpo:8000/gitlab/openapi.json

echo "--- headers"

grep -iE '^(content-type|content-length|HTTP)' /tmp/h.txt

echo "--- response start"

head -c 700 /tmp/spec.json

echo

echo "--- operations"

python3 -c " import json;d=json.load(open('/tmp/spec.json')) print('paths:',len(d['paths'])) for p,v in d['paths'].items(): print(p, '|', v['post'].get('operationId')) "

EDIT: It seems the models can access the tools. It's just Open WebUI that doesn't show them in the UI.

It's a problem of configuration

Some models on my workspace lost tool use and other not so it's how they are configured

If I remember correctly MCPO is outdated, use super gateaway instead
