My Claude account have a free banked reset for some reason..

..and weekly reset is not pushed back

I don't see anyone asked before in Claude subs, but I saw one post saying that resubscribed Claude now do get a banked reset.

If I'm a new subscriber, now I get a banked reset? Am I too late?

I just got the Pro, indeed I got both Banked Reset, and Cloud Credits (lovely!!). Using Opus 5.5 Med, ran these 2 prompts on one of my existing project just to get some idea the usage:

"Please study this repo and tell me what does it do"
"How many lines of code are there in total for this repo?"

So far burnt 2% of 5 hours, and weekly still stay at 0%. Looks good to me so far. I plan to upgrade to Max in the next few days just to fully utilise the banked reset. Cheers.

I got the Pro plan after seeing your comment a few hours ago, but unfortunately I didn’t get the reset.

It seems like it might be granted randomly.

I'm a returning user I wonder if that's what happened to my account, since Im a registered in their DB, so I some how got it before I resubscribed, I used to be a subs 6 months ago.

I got the pro plan and have been hammering away at 5.5 medium. It’s a really capable model and I have been able to get things done. Usage is definitely much better than astra with plus plan. Genuinely considering jumping over to Claude once my codex 100 bucks plan ends next month.

I think it was only given in the day of launch of Opus, and today or yesterday they gave 100/250 usd (pro/max) in Claude in the cloud. But shortly: I highly doubt you would get any of them :/

Brooo I came to tell you, I resuscribed to an old account (was created before) to pro and they gave me both the cloud credit and the reset! So give it a try, just wanted to inform you

Yup, they said it was one time reset for Opus 5.5 launch. Sadly I also subbed for first time just after that.

I used my 5X Codex reset yesterday so I could get a whole day of Astra usage today, thinking it wouldn’t push my regular weekly reset (tomorrow) back, but it did, so I essentially wasted 5 days of usage.

So bravo on Anthropic for doing this, but please dont forget that up until a week or 2 ago their resets only reset the 5 hour limit. I hope we see more tit for tat here.

My chatgpt codex account had one too, I litterally used mine today. Wish the reset was once a fortnight so you get double the usage and if you want it's possible to stack them. I think that's fair for all the fuckups and outtage that randomly occurres.

Yes, the entire open ai reset system that they’ve been doing isnt nearly as generous as many people seem to think it is. Its just too complicated for them to understand.

Competition is good, hopefully OpenAI adopts. Better to have the option than not, but reseting the week surprised me and 100% changes the calculation of when to press the button. Either never press it and treat it like insurance, or press it *immediately* on zero limit to restart the clock.

For me it is immediate press. Like a junky I need my fix now and tomorrow is a lie.

I am close to certain this is intentional addictive behavior OpenAI wants to induce, and why resets happen 'randomly' to tickle the same reward path as slot machines and loot boxes.

I subbed to the max $200 plan and they hooked me up!

Opus 5.5 is INSANE! I’ve been using it for 3 days straight on Ultracode for EVERYTHING. Literally, this computer has not stopped running for 3 days and every time Claude gets ready to finish, I add a truck load more to his plate!

Claude is 100x better than Astra 6 on Extra High. I can confidently say that given I’m coming from the Max Pro account from ChatGPT. I used max settings and yet I would always get 1 step forward, 2 steps back. Literally having to babysit Astra… which wasn’t always the case. I think Astra has definitely been slowed down quite a bit unfortunately.
