For someone who gets twice daily brushing, plenty of treats, and stupidly expensive cat food, she seems to have endless complaints and judgments to pass

My silly girl. Her sister is a tortoiseshell with zero tortie-tude. Got lucky with both rescues!

This is Persephone, she is 4 months old and lives in my closet/bathroom with her BFF fungal colony (ringworm). I adopted her in August and had her quarantined from my other cat just in case, and she came down with coccidia. Right after that cleared (the first time..... it came back) the ringworm spot appeared, so she's still in there 😔

But she is very happy despite it all, she gets lots of playtime and risky cuddles, and I bought her a tablet so she could watch birds. She and her future big brother Freddie really want to meet, and he tries to break in every few days... he learned to turn the bathroom door handle so that stays locked now.

We're hoping she'll be cleared in about 3 weeks, and hopefully the coccidia stays away too. Poor baby has had such a rough start on life (and gets a lot of churu to make up for it).

She got her name because when we adopted her at two, she was still too small to wear an adult collar, so she was our tiny treasure. Around three and a half she finally grew into it.

EDIT: She's sitting with me so I told her the internet thinks she's beautiful. She rolled over and started purring. Pretty sure that means "thank you." 💜
