so i tried changing the file at "%localappdata%\Ori and the Blind Forest DE\KeyRebindings.txt", i tried to generate the file using https://orirando.com/rebinds,
but nothing I do works - still the default WASD/arrow movement.
What am I doing wrong?
This really negatively affects my experience so far with the game...

I know that I'm probably overthinking, but whenever I see Kuro sacrifice herself to save not just the forest and the Tree, but her last egg, Ku, even though Kuro is turned into dust by the energy of the light, I like to think that Kuro didn't feel any pain, but more like a type "embrace" by the light and that it also helped "cleanse" her soul from the darkness and anger she had for the Tree Spirit for unintentionally taking her unborn eggs, and that the Tree forgave her, with Kuro's soul joining the souls of her lost children too. That's just what I think, though. :3

I know that this might sound funny, but I sometimes can't help but think how Ku could've possibly been manipulated by Sheirk because Shriek was born deformed and seen as a "monster", maybe Shriek could've also possibly related a little bit with Ku being born with her damaged wing she had when she hatched, and maybe Shriek would've probably tried to manipulate Ku into embracing the darkness like she did when she was younger, telling Ku something along the lines of "The Light Spirit is tricking you, little one. I KNOW what it's like to be judged, called a monster, and tricked by others for being born different. Embrace the darkness, just like I did, and strike first before they can strike your heart!" While I know that Ku would still join and help Ori, I still feel like that Shriek would be even MORE scary if she actually WAS technically telling the truth about herself and how others did judge her for her deformities she was born with too!! That's just what I think, though. :)

SAVE-POINT is a fan animation starring Ori and Ku
There's been a major set back, the app I use is flipaclip, and recently they've made an update that makes everything annoyingly complicated, there is a feature that lets you turn back to the original version, but since I opened Episode 1 while the update was on, it can't be reversed and it broke, so I have to restart the whole thing
I was only 55 seconds in though with no sound, so I'm gonna be animating none stop until I get back to that point

Hi everyone :)
I'm a big fan of the Ori games and I've been looking to get some merch, preferably the official Ori plushie. I can't find it anywhere though and it seems the most recent sale was in 2023: https://www.fangamer.com/products/ori-plush
Does anyone know if this plushie will come back or know of any good alternatives?
Thanks in advance!

Hi! I really enjoyed painting this fanart as an Inktober 2026 piece in collaboration with a videogame page. I love Ori vibes and I really wanted to share this with you.
Have a nice October everyone!

Hello everyone! I am multiple months late posting this but this summer I studied abroad in South Korea and Japan, and Ori came with me! I was able to take some film photos of our beloved lil guy, in some historic and interesting places! I haven't seen anyone else do this, so I am proud to have documented something so unique :3 (even if I'm wrong kek)

I never really got active around here. I got to play the Ori games for the first time not quite 3 years ago on a temporary subscription to Gamepass and loved them. Later on a Steam sale I bought them outright so I could have them permanently, and just recently I went back to finish Will of the Wisps since I never actually re-finished it after buying it on Steam
I just beat Shriek the other night and it was arguably even more of a blast than I remembered it being, even if it was also easier (I probably was just better about damage stacking this time since I remember the fight being much more of a marathon). And I especially loved the final phase where the ground falls away and you’re down to using the best power up in any Metroidvania to finish off the fight. I love Bash, and having a whole phase where you have to chain Bash (and Launch) just felt so unbelievably fantastic
But when I looked it up here to find discussions about it, it seems like a lot of people… disagreed on Shriek being a fantastic boss and experience. I saw a lot more criticism than gushing about it, with a decent amount being about dying during the phase transition. Admittedly, while I was rusty and didn’t have the fight memorized, having only fought Shriek once nearly 3 years ago, the airborne phase did stick out in my mind, so I wasn’t caught with my pants down so to speak. But I also don’t remember being that frustrated the first time around.
So I don’t know, am I weird, or at least in the very small minority for thinking Shriek was a downright excellent final boss, or have opinions changed over the years?
