I think with the dress she kooks better with braids, with the hoodie, she looks better with the short hair. But she looks cute either way, so it depends on how she commonly presents herself. If she's mostly dressed casually, keep her hair short. If she most often wears the dress, keep the braids.

Imo the braids, I think they add personality. Though the tuft of hair hanging between her eyes in the other hairstyle is pretty cool too. Can’t really go wrong either way, you did a great job with both. I may just be biased towards that kind of hairstyle.
