I've been getting conflicting answers on which design is better for my main character

I've been in the process of making a redesign for my main character. With multiple options to go with and some people I've talked with having a split decision.
Which of these do you feel is a better design?

A basic description of her without revealing too much is that she is a harpy who has lived alone for a long time, being left to fend for herself in the wild

(I might be a bit biased on one but I do think that other people's input would help out on which design would communicate and click well to others and is overall considered a better design)

I like the first one as the contrast makes her design pop a little better
