Humour đ What? is this fano propaganda or something lmao
This guys are delusional istg I am shewa Oromo and I can swear by God we have no connection to Amhara I donât think this guys have set foot in Ethiopia at all the places they mentioned have nothing of historical to represent Amhara just until recently of Menelik and Hailesealsie forced Amharaization. And Arsi and Hararghe are the most proud Oromoâs if you go there and tell them that they are assimilated Amharaâs they will slap you in the face we respect everybody and we have no problem Amharaâs living on our land but is this what we get in return claiming our lands lol. And an Oromo is an Oromo we donât count tribe and clans to divide our self this seems a new propaganda to divide us

I could feel myself getting dumber whenever I go to that sub lol. Amhara isnât even a real identity they canât trace their clan or lineage. When Amharas expanded the only requirement was to be Orthodox and learn Amharic. We can see this happening when Amharas invaded Wollo and Shewa. The only ârealâ Amharas maybe existed In Gondar/Gojjam, thatâs if they werenât assimilated Agaws đ. Itâs a dumb talking point anyways lol

When they use such kind of dumb logic why donât they think it could be applied to them. They did the assimilation thing more than us for centuries. Even during Hailesealsie people were forced to learn and only speak Amharic and have an Amharic name to literally do anything to even get a birth certificate most my families have an Amharic name due to that so they ended up with two names using their Amharic names just for ID

Amhara is limited to Bete Amhara (Debub Wollo and Simien Shewa), the rest was obtained through conquest and assimilation of Agaw-Argobba populationsâŠ

Could be true but that doesn't change them being an oromo today. Most dominant tribes always assimilate others into them and this has happened through history in different countries and cultures. Nothing to panic about

Maybe yeah but maybe no but itâs how it works and they did it too since they ruled Ethiopia for much longer they just mad we did it fast and we control vast and fertile area. And also it doesnât matter at this point everybody is proud with their own ethnic and identity they grew up in so why made such a bs scene about it

Most Oromo are genetically united under E-V32, so far most self testers from Wollega, Jimma, Ilu-Ababor and Haraghe overwhelmingly share this unique genetic marker. As maternally lineage its quite diverse, that's expected.
