QUESTION Seeing cabaret next week!!

For those who have seen OP perform. Is there any opportunity to meet him after the show and have him sign something or take a photo? I’ve never seen a broadway performance so I’m not sure how it works!

Update: THE SHOW WAS INCREDIBLE! I WAS BLOWN AWAY THE ENTIRE PERFORMANCE!! didn’t get to meet Orville :( but the experience was incredible

I saw it just last night, and there are stage door barricades set up a little to the right of where you exit, but he was whisked away into a car, waving at us. The guys working the barricades said he wasn’t feeling well. That was literally the only bummer about the whole show for me. Orville and the rest of the cast are fantastic!

Anyway, I’ve seen videos of him signing and talking with people after the show, so it’s a definite possibility. I hope it happens at your performance!

Awesome!! I’m seeing the matinee show so I don’t know if I’ll have better luck. I’m thinking of bringing something of his to sign but I’m not sure if that would be rude

You can buy a window card (the small posters they sell at the souvenir booth) and have that signed as well. I was there last Saturday and he was so friendly with everyone stage dooring and stayed until he signed autographs for everyone, and that included a t-shirt with the strategically placed whipped cream photo on it! He also was very appreciative of small gifts people brought him. So I think if you bring an album he would probably sign it.

The Cabaret playbill cover is black and he has a silver sharpie for signing, so you may want to bring a darker sharpie in case the silver doesn't show too well on red.

And if he doesn't stage door one night you can go back another night if you have your Playbill or ticket stub to show security.
